"Every good and perfect gift is from above.” James 1:17
It’s the week before “Frozen Jr.” and all through the school
There is a buzz of excitement, as Mr. Topel remains exceptionally calm and cool
Mr. Czinder is rehearsing solos and critiquing lines that are read,
While the chorus to “Let It Go” plays on and on and on in his head
Mrs. Lancaster’s choreography is sure to be a delightful hit,
As Mrs. Heiden and Mrs. Ohly work diligently to ensure that every costume is a perfect fit!
The Stage Crew is working tirelessly producing props and a beautiful set
While the Concession Stand Team ponders nightly regarding how many treats they should get
Motivated to give God the glory and remembering that we are always in His sight,
We look forward to the return of a St. Matthew Spring musical and watching how God is going to bless this very special night!
The lines are memorized…. The dances are complete… The set is made…. The costumes are hung and labeled…. AND we have 500 candy bars waiting to be sold…. IT MUST BE TIME FOR A SPRING MUSICAL!!!
Please join us on May 6th & 7th as St. Matthew Lutheran School proudly presents “Frozen Jr.”!!
Tomorrow is the last day for presale tickets to this amazing event. We hope that your family can join Elsa, Anna, and the entire Frozen cast as they teach us a very important lesson about love and family.
While you are at this fabulous show, plan on stopping by the "Elsa Ice Castle Café” for enchanting snack options, including “Frozen” Slushies, Elsa’s famous Snowflake Cookies, Anna’s delicious Cake Pops, and even sample Sven’s Reindeer food!
In addition, we will sell Kristoff’s Hidden Treasure Bars! Each night, 20 pieces of various forms of treasure will be hidden inside the chocolate bar wrappers, so come and see if you can locate an exciting prize - including a pool party for your class at Mrs. Palka’s house!
Mrs. Palka was reminded by her millennial aged son that his generation does not carry cash, so we have now made arrangements that St. Matthew families can charge their treats to their established FACTS accounts if they should select to do so! Please know that every delicious bite that you consume is helping fund this theatrical endeavor, and we thank you for your support!
Also, all younger guests are encouraged to wear their favorite “Frozen” T-shirts and/or princess gowns for a photo opportunity, in addition to receiving a small party favor from Olaf!
As we celebrate the Fine Arts this weekend, you will also have an opportunity to view our student artwork that is displayed in our Art Show. Mrs. Nancy Flake has put a tremendous amount of effort into transforming our gym into a beautiful art museum so please come and view your children's masterpieces! Also, our Scholastic Book Fair will be open for business before and after each show, so please stop by and look at all the amazing literary selections that are available for purchase.
It’s time to “Let It Go” and buy your tickets now! Mrs. Yeskie will be outside the blue awning tomorrow morning to collect your order forms because in the words of Elsa… “The cold doesn’t bother her anyway!”
Looking forward to a wonderful night!
Mrs. Palka
